Saratoga Racers Win Home Game at Mechanicville Historic Court

The Saratoga Racers beat the Vermont Coyotes 138-119 in a hard-fought back and forth game at Riverside Center. There were 17 lead changes in the game.

The Saratoga Racers trailed 60-59 at halftime before coming back for the victory. Trailing 62-59, the Saratoga Racers went on a 12-point run to take the lead. The fourth quarter saw the Racers outscore the Coyotes 45-32 with the Racers tallying eight assists in the quarter.


Malone, Isaiah Grandison, Tyrone Jenkins, Donovan Williams and RJ Rosa each hit multiple three-pointers for the Racers. Saratoga controlled the paint, grabbing 52 rebounds. Joey Harden led the team with 12 rebounds. The Racers passed the ball well with 22 assists on 51 made baskets. Williams led the team with 8 assists. Saratoga swiped 21 steals in the game. Williams led the team with 4 steals.


Also contributing for the Saratoga Racers were Tyler McLeod (18 points), Tyrone Jenkins (18 points), RJ Rosa (16 points), Isaiah Grandison (14 points), Donavan Williams (13 points), John Ryals III (13 points), Joey Harden (9 points), Luke Perez (7 points) Keishaun Wheelings (5 points) and Cam Thomas (2 points).


Dylan Hunter and Malachi Howard led the Vermont Coyotesin scoring with 28 points each.
